The Hottest Footwear Trends seen at Coachella 2018

Basically, Coachella should be dubbed a fashion week and Beyonce' might as well be president.

I love music. I love Destiney's Child & Cardi B. is actually my new favorite human but for me, Coachella is all about the looks. I think I enjoy the looks at Coachella more so than I do the looks at an actual fashion week (#NFW, #PFW & #MFW). This may be because festival looks seem more relatable and are easier to re-create, no matter your budget. In the past when I thought about Coachella looks, I imagined flower crowns and boho dresses but to my surprise, the looks from this past weekend really amazed me!

We saw celebs & influencers wearing so many different styles from, boho-chic to rocker & western. Anything goes at a place like Coachella but the one trend that stuck out to me was of course the footwear. We're talking BOOTS, people. (seems crazy, right?) Yes, boots for spring! Here is what is trending and how you can take this look from now to summer! For my fellow Chicago girls, this trend is perfect for us because well, it currently still feels like winter. :)

This was without question, the hottest trend at Coachella this year. We have seen combat boots trending since fall BUT this past weekend we saw many new variations of this edgy, yet classic shoe. My personal favorite? Anything & everything white! The white combat boot is the ultimate statement. Go boho with a flirty dress OR pair with ripped denim shorts for an edgier look.

Like it or not, cowboy boots are all the rage. From short to tall, all variations of cowboy boots are here to stay. This trend will likely take us through the fall. As for the warmer months ahead, think whites, creams, metallics and perforated styles for some breathing room. :)

Pair these two boot trends with denim shorts, dresses or skirts. Go for a monochrome look when wearing white boots by pairing with white denim shorts or a white dress. Keep it lightweight for a day look with a denim jacket. Take this look to night by pairing it with a thin leather jacket.

What do we think of these trends? Will you be wearing boots for spring?
